Provisional Accessibility Statement
Introduction
At Grupo Alsa, we are committed to universal digital accessibility, working continuously to ensure that our digital assets are usable by all people, regardless of their abilities, age, or personal circumstances.
Our accessibility statement is based on Annex VI of Law 11/2023 and the presumption of conformity in Article 17 of the same law, using the European harmonized technical standard EN 301 549 in its latest version, which is the European standard for digital accessibility, approved by the European Commission. This standard defines accessibility requirements for products and services subject to the European Accessibility Act.
The scope of this statement includes the website www.alsa.com, excluding embedded content from external domains. However, Grupo Alsa and its external providers remain actively committed to improving the accessibility of external content included on the website, with the aim of ensuring as inclusive a digital experience as possible.
Our goal is to continuously monitor and correct potential digital accessibility barriers in order to provide an inclusive and barrier-free experience for all users.
Beyond legal compliance, Línea Directa Aseguradora aims to exceed the legal requirements for digital accessibility. Our commitment is to achieve the highest accessibility standards, aiming to meet AAA-level criteria, continuously improve the usability of our digital products, and obtain certifications that endorse our excellence in accessibility.
To achieve this ambitious goal, we have implemented a comprehensive digital accessibility service (S.I.A.), developing corrective measures, including specialized training for our teams, evaluation systems, and continuous improvement of accessibility, as well as proactive actions on both our websites and mobile applications, with the ultimate goal of ensuring a truly universal and inclusive digital experience.
Adopted Criteria
Grupo Alsa has audited the requirements of the EN 301 549 standard to ensure the digital accessibility of its website www.alsa.com. Some of the functionalities implemented to improve accessibility are:
- The visual features of the portal (font type, color of text and background, etc.) are defined via the style sheet, so that the user can adjust the text to their individual preferences.
- Font sizes are defined using relative units, so the font size can be increased or decreased through the browser's options.
- If a user accesses the page with a browser that does not support style sheets, it will not pose a difficulty, as all content can still be accessed with CSS disabled.
- The HTML and CSS code used adheres to formal grammars to ensure proper display of content in different browsers.
- Continuous improvement of office document content (email templates and other formats) to adapt to accessibility requirements.
